Nos alegra anunciar que la Casa de España en Georgia llevará a cabo su asamblea general el 16 de septiembre a las 15:00 en el clubhouse de Spalding Lake, 3880 Spalding Drive, Sandy Springs GA 30350. Vamos a compartir los excitantes planes para el futuro. También, y según nuestro reglamento, para revitalizar nuestra directiva, llevaremos a cabo las elecciones generales de la Junta de directores.
Hay que elegir Presidente, dos Vicepresidentes, Tesorero y Secretario. María “Amor” Ortega-Estrems renunció a su posición de presidente. Le queremos dar las gracias por su servicio y por el tiempo dedicado a tan noble trabajo.
Por favor, si le gustaría postularse o postular a alguien para alguna posición de director, favor envíe su nombre y posición deseada en o antes del 9 de septiembre enviando un mensaje a spaininatlanta@gmail.com y pon en la línea de asunto las palabras POSTULARSE 2023. Les anunciaremos los candidatos antes de la reunión. Y luego, votamos por papeletas y contamos las papeletas en la asamblea general. El término de un director es tres años.

Dear Friends of Casa de España in Georgia,
We are happy to announce that Casa de España in Georgia will hold its general assembly on September 16 at 3:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse of Spalding Lake, located at 3880 Spalding Drive, Sandy Springs GA 30350. We are going to share exciting plans for the future. Also, we will hold general elections to fill positions on our Board of Directors as called for by our bylaws.
We will elect a President, two Vice Presidents, a Treasurer and a Secretary. María “Amor” Ortega-Estrems has resigned from the position as president. We want to thank her for her service and for the time dedicated to such noble work.
If you would like to apply to run as a candidate for one of the positions or nominate someone to be a candidate, then please submit the candidate’s name and desired position on or before September 9, by sending a message to spaininatlanta@gmail.com with the words NOMINATION 2023 in the subject line. We will announce the candidates before the meeting. We will vote by paper ballot and count the ballots in the general assembly. The term of a director is three years.
We hope to see you all and start working towards the future of Casa de España!
